Inventory Warehouse Materials Expediter

Job Functions (Duties, Responsibilities, and Requirements)

• Unloading and loading trucks for delivery
• Store away incoming material in the proper place
• Operate forklift
• Have general knowledge of warehouse operations such as picking and pulling orders
• Lift a minimum of 50 pounds
• Read and understand information and ideas presented in writing
• Follow safety rules and work procedures
• Block and/or tie a rope around items to secure cargo during transit
• Clean work area
• Perform other duties as needed

Qualifications

• Knowledge of forklift operation
• Ability to pull order from picking sheet
• Process all boxes and palletize shipments for outbound freight services
• Assist with checking inbound freight traffic
• Conduct periodic inventory counts
• Advise inventory manager of discrepancies on inventory
• Ensure inventory is stocked according to size and type of product
• Keep warehouse floors swept and clean from debris
