Materials Expediter

Job Duties

• Use FIFO when pulling materials by "lot" number for traceability
• Maintain organization of raw materials and finished goods in the materials storage area.
• Communicate with manufacturing, distribution, and supply chain management teams regularly regarding non-conforming product and other urgent matters.
• Execute inventory transactions in NetSuite system as needed.
• Operate a forklift in a safe and proficient manner.
• Perform all duties and actions in a safe manner and continuously monitor areas to ensure that safety procedures are being followed.
• Comply with all company policies, procedures, standards, safety and GMP requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years of experience and proficiency using NetSuite software, or similar software in a manufacturing/warehousing/production environment (a plus)
• Strong data entry and general computer use skills
• Strong ability to multitask and to work independently
• Proven track record in strong attendance and reliability
• Should be self-directed and responsible
• Able to communicate well with all levels with the operation
• Pallet jack and forklift experience
• Able to use the RF scanning system efficiently and accurately
