Material Expediter

About the role

The logistics team supports the mission by implementing/maintaining systems utilized on military vehicle platforms while working alongside of the integration team. These assets include optics, radar, and detection capabilities on the JLTV (Joint Light Tactical Vehicle), Polaris MRZR, Utility Terrain Vehicles (UTV), and Ultra-Light Tactical Vehicle (ULTV).

Responsibilities

• Monitor, correct, and report material record discrepancies
• Reconcile receiving, shipping, and warehouse inventory reports
• Document, track, and report daily deliveries, shipments, and internal material movements
• Collaborate with material handlers and other warehouse/logistics staff to ensure timely, efficient packaging, handling, storage, and transportation (PHS&T) of material
• Coordinate and expedite the flow of material to and from various departments
• Assist Logistics Leads in daily coordination
• Communicate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and resolve any supply issues

Requirements

• Military vehicle platform maintenance and support experience
• Experience with radio communication and optics, radar, and detection capabilities
• Ability to safely perform physical tasks including lifting, pulling, pushing, and carrying up to 50 pounds, walking, bending, stooping, sitting, standing, or squatting for extended periods

Qualifications

• High School diploma required at minimum for all roles
• US Citizenship is required
