About the role

As part of the Contract Logistics team at Kuehne+Nagel, you will play a key role in designing, managing, and optimizing solutions that keep goods moving efficiently. Your work ensures that our customers’ products are stored, handled, and delivered with precision, impacting businesses and communities around the world. Your contribution goes far beyond the warehouse—it helps shape the flow of global trade.

In this role, you will lead a team to ensure physical cycle counts are performed, accurate inventory levels are maintained, account for all defective or damaged products, and provide appropriate corrective action.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and develop the performance of your team through effective training, coaching, and motivational strategies.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide timely feedback to team members.
  • Drive a culture of belonging in a diverse workforce where all associates feel safe, valued, and included.
  • Implement strategies to ensure the highest quality of work, optimize warehouse inventory efficiency, and meet or exceed KPI’s (Key Performance Indicators).
  • Ensure safe operations and healthy environments for employees, customers, vendors, and visitors.
  • Verify inventory paperwork and accurately complete all necessary records and reports.
  • Ensure daily cycle counts are completed and help organize the annual audit.
  • Help maintain the security of the warehouse and assure the integrity of inventory.
  • Implement continuous improvement action plans and loss prevention programs.
  • Be flexible to work overtime and perform other responsibilities as needed.
  • Responsible for associate counseling, coaching, and administration of corrective action as required.
  • Maintain associate adherence to all KN policies.
  • Complete new hire’s Introductory Period Assessments (IPA) on a timely basis.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of recent experience in a full-time inventory role.
  • 2 or more years in a supervisory role in a warehouse environment.
  • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with personal computers and materials handling equipment.
  • Ability to work standing and walking in a hot/cold warehouse environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.

Pay

The annual wage range for this position is between $80,000 and $83,000. Base salary is part of a competitive total rewards package. Individual pay may vary based on experience, skills, job location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations.
