About the role
Ensure inventory accuracy and maintain the packaging warehouse.
Responsibilities
- Accurately count all packaging, ingredients, and chemicals in the warehouse and upstairs tray former.
- Perform computer work and data entry in SAP (issue, reverse, receive, etc.).
- Manage runbacks and partials from production (return packaging to racks and reverse into inventory).
- Clean and organize work areas and the warehouse.
- Assist with startup and end-of-night tasks.
- Direct production on where to place returned packaging.
- Load “junk” heat-treat pallets from the hallway onto trailers.
- Maintain communication with manager and coworkers.
- Cover the label cage as needed.
- Unload and put away freight when required.
- Perform various other duties as assigned by the manager.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to be licensed on and operate a forklift.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to count accurately.
Qualifications
- Previous inventory knowledge is beneficial.
- Sit-down forklift experience is beneficial.
- Computer skills, including SAP knowledge.
- Customer service orientation.
- Bilingual ability is beneficial.
Working Conditions
- Third shift: 10 PM – 6:30 AM, Sunday–Thursday (with flexibility to change days and/or times for vacation coverage).
- Minimum of 40 hours per week; overtime as needed.
- May be required to change shifts, days, or hours for absentee coverage.
- Warehouse environment; cold in winter and hot in summer.
Pay
Base salary: $16.87/hr – $22.77/hr.
