About the Role
Functions in the operating room by maintaining adequate inventory levels. Is responsible for accurately and efficiently posting charges for all areas of Surgical Services.
Responsibilities
- Maintain inventory of supplies and products in accordance with inventory cycles and hospital needs
- Scan PARS
- Work with individual departments on PARS
- Deliver and stock the PARS as needed
- Be alert to expired items and handle according to policy
- Maintain the supply rooms
- Work on the receiving doc and process deliveries appropriately
- Work with Sales Representatives and log items into the system for special surgical cases
- Place all orders
- Manage hospital wide inventory

- Utilizes some discretion and research to solve routine problems
