Inventory Specialist
The Inventory Specialist will support day-to-day inventory operations across multiple departments, ensuring materials are available, accurately tracked, and efficiently managed.
Responsibilities
- Execute shipping and receiving operations for all inbound and outbound materials.
- Pick, pack, and stage materials to support production workflows and outbound deliveries.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, R&D, and Fleet departments to fulfill inventory requests and maintain uninterrupted supply.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and investigate and reconcile inventory discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Maintain, organize, and replenish kanban areas within the manufacturing environment to support lean operations.
- Enter, update, and manage inventory records in the organization's ERP system, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
- Utilize Google Sheets and Google Workspace tools (Docs, Drive, Gmail, etc.) to support inventory tracking, reporting, and interdepartmental communication.
- Operate a box truck (16 ft or larger) to facilitate material transport as required.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety protocols, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Identify opportunities to improve inventory processes and contribute to operational efficiency initiatives.
Requirements
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience working in a warehouse or large-scale inventory environment.
- Minimum of one (1) year of hands-on experience with ERP systems; experience with NetSuite is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Google Sheets and Google Workspace applications (Docs, Drive, Gmail, etc.).
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other standard warehouse equipment.
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience driving a box truck 16 ft or larger; a valid driver's license is required.
- Ability to safely lift, carry, and move materials in a warehouse setting in accordance with established safety guidelines.
Desirable Qualifications
- Experience with NetSuite or comparable enterprise inventory management platforms.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles, including kanban and 5S methodologies.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally across departments.
- Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and adapt to a dynamic, fast-changing work environment.
Benefits
The base hourly wage range for this position is $30-$42 per hour. Aurora’s pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, the successful candidate’s starting base pay will be determined based on factors including job-related skills, experience, qualifications, relevant education or training, and market conditions. Pay and Schedule
The base hourly wage range for this position is $30-$42 per hour. Aurora’s pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, the successful candidate’s starting base pay will be determined based on factors including job-related skills, experience, qualifications, relevant education or training, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.
Schedule
Aurora operates in a hybrid work environment where Aurorans are in office at least 3 days per week.
