About the Role
The Inventory Specialist plays a critical role in maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring product quality, and supporting loss‑prevention efforts. This position requires exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical and mathematical skills, and consistent professionalism. The associate will collaborate closely with management to uphold standards, refine processes, and ensure operational accuracy across all inventory‑related activities.
Core Responsibilities
- Maintain Inventory Accuracy — Perform precise digital and physical counts; reconcile discrepancies promptly.
- Audit Product Data — Verify product dimensions, weights, and specifications against database records.
- Follow Loss‑Mitigation Protocols — Adhere to established procedures to reduce shrinkage and prevent errors.
- Generate Detailed Reports — Document adjustments, stock levels, and inventory operations with clarity and accuracy.
- Verify Product Quality — Ensure items meet required standards, specifications, and packaging requirements.
- Document and Photograph Shipments — Capture and store photos of pallets, labels, and shipment conditions.
- Maintain Inspection Records — Complete quality checks and maintain organized, accurate documentation.
- Identify and Report Issues — Escalate quality, documentation, or packaging concerns to appropriate personnel.
- Maintain Workspace Organization — Keep work areas clean, safe, and well‑organized.
- Support Process Improvements — Identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements to management.
- Stay Current on Regulations — Remain informed on shipping requirements, logistics procedures, and industry best practices.
Required Experience
- Experience in inventory management, quality control, or a related operational role.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency with basic computer programs and inventory systems.
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills, including comfort with statistical methods.
- High level of detail orientation and accuracy.
- Understanding of supply chain processes and logistics workflows.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work both independently and collaboratively.

Physical Requirements
