About the role
Hydrolec seeks an Inventory & Procurement Manager to build and scale the inventory and procurement function, turning raw material into a data-driven, scalable operation that production never has to worry about.
Responsibilities
- Own the ABC model, reorder parameters, and all component purchasing and PO management
- Manage daily inventory records in MISys and Sage 50
- Ensure production readiness data is current and accurate at all times
- Develop and manage vendor scorecards, incoming inspection standards, and supplier relationships
- Build partnerships with Engineering and Production to improve BOM and work ticket accuracy
- Supervise the Inventory Supervisor, two Inventory Clerks, and Shipping Team Lead
- Evaluate and support ERP migration
Requirements
- 3-5+ years of inventory management and/or purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment
- Demonstrated experience building or significantly improving ABC models, reorder systems, and safety stock frameworks using real data
- Experience managing a stockroom, warehouse, or production support team
- Manufacturing ERP/MRP proficiency for inventory control and materials management
- Experience with inventory valuation reporting and direct collaboration with finance or accounting teams
- Strong analytical capability; track record of high inventory accuracy, verifiable not just claimed

Skills
- Hydraulics/pneumatics experience (preferred)
- Sage 50 & MISys familiarity (preferred)
- APICS CPIM or CSCP certification (preferred)
- ERP migration experience (preferred)
- Reporting tools (Excel, SQL, Power BI) (preferred)
- AI-assisted operations exposure (preferred)
