Canopy has an office in NYC with distributed team members located around the US (California, Texas, Pennsylvania, Colorado, Illinois) and Asia (Hong Kong & China) OVERVIEWCanopy is looking for an Inventory Planning and Procurement Manager to own the numbers behind our inventory: how much we need, when we need it, and where it needs to be, across every channel we sell in. You will forecast demand across DTC, Wholesale and Retail, and Amazon, set up and maintain the items and SKUs that keep our systems clean, and partner with our supply chain team to turn those forecasts into purchase orders that arrive on time. This is a hands-on role for someone who loves getting the inventory position exactly right and wants to build the planning engine that scales with Canopy. You will report to the VP of Operations and work closely with an operations team based in NYC. ABOUT CANOPYCanopy is leading the way in reimagining home wellness with innovative products like humidifiers, showerheads, and diffusers. Our mission is to provide dermatologist-recommended, easy-to-use products that support glowing skin, better sleep, and a healthier home. Our focus is on developing standout ideas, sourcing the right materials, and defining the forms they can take. We draw on everyday observations, deep research, and an anthropological approach to product development. Our goal is to build products that are forward-thinking while respecting the past, distilling ideas to their essence while preserving what appeals to human sensibilities. WHY WE'RE HIRINGCanopy has reached a scale where inventory planning and procurement need a dedicated owner. We sell direct-to-consumer, into B2B and wholesale accounts, into mass retail, and on Amazon, and each of those channels carries its own demand signal, lead time, and inventory rhythm. We manufacture internationally and move product across a multi-node fulfillment network. We need someone who can connect the forecast to the purchase order, keep our item and SKU data clean across systems, and make sure we avoid both stockouts and overstock as we grow. If you are energized by planning across channels and enjoy building the systems that make it repeatable, this is the role for you. Manage the PO lifecycle from placement through ready date and receipt, keeping timelines, quantities, and communication on track with our factories and partners.INVENTORY HEALTH: Monitor stock health and accuracy across locations and channels, flagging risks early and recommending reorders, transfers, or adjustments to keep the right product in the right place.SYSTEMS AND REPORTING: Work inside a modern, AI-native tech stack (ERP, planning tools, and connected workflows) to run planning and procurement efficiently.
