Inventory Management Specialist

Responsibilities

• Identifying and developing requirements, managing items, and executing requirements.
• Evaluating program efficiency and effectiveness.
• Validating repair requirements and initiating and managing organic and contractual repair arrangements.
• Procuring items and maintaining supporting documentation.
• Optimizing the global distribution of assets based on customer requirements.
• Analyzing data to determine the most effective demand-planning methods.
• Solving complex inventory management issues.
• Preparing reports, presentations, and briefings for management and customers.
• Aiding government personnel with supply-planning and item-management activities.
• Applying knowledge of logistics planning, programming, and budgeting systems.
• Using relevant Air Force data and logistics systems.
• Ensuring compliance with applicable policies and procedures.
• Communicating effectively with government personnel, stakeholders, and customers.

Requirements

• Must have at least 8 years of Air Force supply chain management experience in the applicable functional area.
• Active Secret Clearance.
