Responsibilities
- Assemble Authorized Medical/Dental Allowance Lists (AMAL/ADAL) and medical kits using government provided standard configurations and quantities.
- Identify medical materiel by NSN, Catalog Numbers, Reference Numbers, Serial Numbers, and Part Numbers.
- Ensure all medical materiel has Manufacturing Dates, Lot Numbers, and Expiration Dates.
- Acquire supply items from Receiving Section for storage in Materiel Distribution Center (MDC) / Materiel Control Center (MCC).
- Designate, use and re-organize locations appropriately based on size, quantity, and unit of issue of stored materiel utilizing the in-house Alpha-9 location.
- Pull, label, organize and stage all materiel issued for the AMAL, ADAL and/or supplemental and conduct proper turn-over by counting and verifying items with the requesting
