Looking to make a meaningful impact behind the scenes in healthcare? Join our team as an Inventory Maintenance Coordinator in the Central Distribution Department and help drive real change where it matters most at the point of care. The Inventory Maintenance Coordinator is a support position assigned to the Central Distribution Department within Supply Chain Management. In this role, you'll work closely with clinical teams to streamline supply processes, reduce inefficiencies, and support our ultimate mission: better patient outcomes. • Analyzing supply data to find patterns, gaps, and improvement opportunities
  • Receive, process, and distribute all materials and equipment to their respective locations
  • Adjusting inventory (par levels) to keep clinical areas stocked and ready
  • Owning support requests from start to finish, with clear communication
  • Collaborating with teams across Upstate to improve systems and results
  • Supporting supply chain innovation with a patient-first mindset

Requirements

Associates degree and 3 years relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience, plus strong organizational, written/oral communication, interpersonal, and computer skills. Candidates who possess a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field, along with a satisfactory co-op/internship experience in Supply Chain areas at Upstate, may be considered for an assistant-level position at a commensurate salary.

Exceptionally organized, dependable, and detail-oriented; comfortable juggling multiple priorities with efficiency; curious, engaged, and eager to grow your operational knowledge; a strong communicator who thrives in a collaborative environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Microsoft applications to include Excel.
  • Ability to draw needed information from data systems already in place.

Schedule

Work Days: Monday through Friday 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, some weekends as needed for projects. May also need to fill in at other Upstate locations based on Department needs.
