Inventory Lead

About the role

This is a senior-level, non-supervisory role responsible for providing daily guidance, mentorship, and support to team members while maintaining accurate inventory levels of products, materials, and supplies. The Inventory Lead supports efficient inventory operations, drives process improvements, and ensures alignment with quality, safety, and on-time delivery standards.

Responsibilities

  • Provide daily guidance, mentorship, and support to inventory team members
  • Support inventory operations including cycle counts and full physical counts
  • Identify, investigate, and reconcile discrepancies between physical and system inventory
  • Track and report inventory metrics and performance trends
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation
  • Create Bills of Lading as needed
  • Support administrative tasks including reporting and data tracking
  • Partner with leadership to resolve operational issues and improve processes
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and quality procedures
  • Promote a safe, organized, and efficient work environment

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience in inventory, warehouse, or manufacturing environment preferred
  • Previous experience in a lead or team support role is a plus

  • Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and inventory systems
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
