About the role
We are seeking an Inventory Coordinator to ensure that our production processes are never delayed due to missing components. Your primary responsibility will be to manage the physical and system-of-record accuracy of our stockroom and receiving operations.
Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and check in incoming components and materials, flagging shortages, damage, and discrepancies against purchase orders
- Keep Odoo inventory matched to physical reality by recording stock movements accurately and closing the gap between what the system says and what’s on the shelf
- Run regular cycle counts and periodic physical inventory audits; investigate and resolve discrepancies quickly
- Kit and stage components for active builds so assembly can start on time—“Okay-to-Build” readiness at the material level
- Maintain clear organization, labeling, and storage across the stockroom and warehouse
- Track slow-moving, damaged, and obsolete stock, and surface risks before they stall a build
- Partner with supply chain, assembly, and shipping to keep material flowing in and finished panels flowing out
- Prepare outbound shipments and assist with loading and unloading goods from trucks when needed
- Contribute inventory data and process feedback that improve accuracy and speed as we scale
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in inventory control, receiving, warehouse operations, or logistics
- Comfortable working in inventory management/ERP software day to day, with strong data-entry accuracy and attention to detail
- Organized and methodical, with sound problem-solving instincts and follow-through
- Able to work on your feet 8 hours/day
- Able to lift items up to 50 lbs
- Proficient in Google Workspace
- Available to work in-person in Brooklyn, NY Monday through Friday
Preferred
- Experience with Odoo or a comparable ERP/inventory system (NetSuite, Dynamics)
- Experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or UL 508A panel shop environment
- Familiarity with electrical or electromechanical components—relays, terminal blocks, PLCs, enclosures, wire and cable, or similar
- Forklift certified
