Job Summary
Responsibilities
- Manage inventory levels and track inventory movements to avoid stockouts or overstocks.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure inventory accuracy and address any discrepancies.
- Cook with purchasing and production departments to forecast inventory needs and ensure timely replenishment.
- Utilize inventory management software to monitor inventory levels and generate reports.
- Implement and maintain inventory control procedures to optimize inventory accuracy and efficiency.
- Work closely with vendors to streamline ordering processes and maintain good relationships.
- Assist in the development and implementation of inventory policies and procedures.
- Research and recommend improvements to inventory management processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or related field.
- Proven experience in inventory management or related role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and MS Office applications.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
- Knowledge of inventory control best practices and procedures.
