Inventory Control Specialist(Onsite)
Qualifications
- Knowledge on computer hardware: Motherboards, CPUs, Memory, DIMMs, Addon cards, Hard drives, HDDs, KVMs, etc.
- Knowledge on test and measurement equipment: DMM, Oscilloscopes, Logic analyzers, Network analyzers, Power meters, associated probes, cables, etc.
- Knowledge on inventory management tools.
- Document preparations for domestic and international shipments.
- Knowledge on ESD packaging for shipping.
- Ability to organize inventory room and attention to details.
- Ability to identify and source lab materials requirements.
- Familiarity with electronics part procurement process (internal and external).
- Understanding of fundamental inventory control procedures and systems.
- Familiarity with office and administrative practices.
- Strong recordkeeping skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using computers and standard software applications including Microsoft Office.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail while working safely in diverse environments.
- Adapt quickly to changing priorities and effectively manage multiple tasks.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with management team members and customers.
- Manage check-in and check-out of inventory items ensuring accurate tracking and accountability.
- Perform inventory management duties including receiving shipping and verifying items.
- Inspect incoming items for accuracy and condition, perform operational checks on equipment.
- Compare shipments against purchase orders and packing lists, resolve discrepancies and track delays.
- Accurately document all goods and services received, issued, or shipped using appropriate tracking systems.
- Prepare items for shipment ensuring safe packaging and selecting cost-effective shipping methods.
- Record shipment details including item identification and transportation information.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies such as damaged goods or shortages, coordinate necessary adjustments.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and orderly inventory room to ensure efficiency and safety.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
