Inventory Control Quality Assurance Supervisor
About the role
The Inventory Control Quality Assurance Supervisor will oversee inventory management and adherence to quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Maintain stock levels and storage practices aligned with quality standards.
- Develop and implement inventory control and quality assurance procedures.
- Conduct regular audits, monitor shelf-life requirements, and supervise inventory control team.
- Ensure compliance with product specifications, industry guidelines, and regulatory demands.
- Identify and address quality issues proactively, conducting investigations and implementing corrective actions.
- Collaborate with other departments for accurate inventory data and timely product delivery.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years of experience in comprehensive supply chain management.
- 2+ years of experience in inventory management within distribution logistics, preferably in a 24x7x365 environment.
- Demonstrated planning, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, warehouse management systems, and database systems.
- Ability to multi-task and set priorities based on business requirements.
- Effective communication skills in English (written and verbal).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 3+ years of leadership experience preferred.
- Experience in BlueYonder, Oracle, and IMI systems.
- Food distribution experience.

Work Environment
This job operates in a distribution/warehouse environment with high noise levels. Physical demands include standing, walking, using hands and fingers to handle or feel, reaching with hands and arms, occasionally sitting, climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and push/pull heavy objects. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
