Inventory Control Lead

About the role

This Coordinator role is responsible for directing the completion of all daily inventory control tasks on a specific shift. The Lead is well-versed in systems used by Inventory Control and assists when the Supervisor/Manager is unavailable.

Responsibilities

• Perform all Clerk 2 responsibilities, plus Manager/Supervisor duties during their absence (e.g., balance on hand (BOH) syncs, attend weekly meetings, Mgr/Spvr reporting signoffs).
• Ensure all documents are completed and filed according to inventory control policy.
• Align inventory control tasks to staff.
• Perform all aspects of training Inventory Control associates.
• Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

• Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
• One year of relevant job experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organization, problem-solving, and time management skills.
• Extensive knowledge of WMS system and use in all formats.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to lead and motivate a team to meet deadlines.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel and Word).
