Inventory Control Lead

About the Role

PGI is a privately held company established in 1996, specializing in private label solutions for the automotive industry. We design, manufacture, and distribute products for automotive, diesel, power-sports, and specialty filter markets, with a supply chain network spanning the Pacific and South America.

Responsibilities

• Determine inventory accuracy by selecting specific items to be counted and comparing physical counts to computer inventory.
• Prepare percentage of accuracy reports.
• Ensure materials are in proper locations.
• Conduct searches to locate misclassified inventory.
• Open cartons, bundles, and other containers to count items and/or weigh materials to determine quantity on hand.
• Weigh and mark product to display remaining quantity.
• Report discrepancies of over/under amounts and any damaged products to supervision; publish weekly and quarterly inventory metrics.
• Perform root cause analysis on inventory discrepancies and recommend process improvements to eliminate them.
• Safely operate forklifts, reach trucks, and pickers to access parts/materials located in rack/stacked storage locations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
