About the role

Jabil is a leading provider of engineering, supply chain, and manufacturing solutions for global brands. This position is part of a team that ensures efficient inventory control and supports various departments within the plant.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain department performance and optimize operations according to established procedures.
  • Offer suggestions for improving procedures and implementing new ones as needed.
  • Drive for the shortest processing times on all incoming materials and continuously enhance processing efficiency.
  • Recommend overtime or other recovery methods as necessary.
  • Ensure all tools, equipment, and visual aids are in good working condition and up-to-date.
  • Provide regular and accurate feedback to the Inventory Control and Quality departments and assist in resolving issues related to schedules, equipment, documentation, and personnel.
  • Verify the accuracy of records related to shipping, receiving, and stockroom activities.
  • Ensure the production line receives the correct parts for manufacturing and that materials are stocked promptly and accurately.
  • Identify performance issues and strengths for team members to present to Inventory Control supervisors.
  • Adhere to all safety and health regulations and follow company security policies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in inventory control or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management principles and practices.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
