Inventory Control Coordinator Part Time Sun-Thurs 10PM-2:30AM
About the role
The Inventory Control Coordinator plays a crucial role in managing and communicating field/distributor inventory, ensuring optimal stock levels and protecting company assets.
Responsibilities
- Uses inventory systems like SMS, ZSIS, DCS, and FedEx programs to manage inventory movements, including loaning, receiving, shipping, issuing, and monitoring.
- Investigates inventory discrepancies and disputes, collaborating across departments to resolve issues and implement solutions.
- Facilitates the return/exchange of expired or calibrated products between the warehouse and field personnel.
- Generates and reviews regular reporting, including weekly/monthly reports and ad-hoc requests, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Supports communication and administrative tasks related to distributor account terminations.
- Aids in strategic inventory requests and fulfillment, coordinating with sales and operations teams.
- Monitors and logs inventory outflows, conducting cycle counts in offices and accounts.
- Ensures compliance with relevant regulations and standards, such as FDA Quality System Regulation and ISO.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent, with one to two years of experience in a warehouse environment preferred.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
- Strong customer service orientation and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Experience with inventory control practices and data analysis is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and perform frequent walking, standing, bending, stooping.
Qualifications
- Computer literacy with intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
- Results-oriented with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Demonstrated enthusiasm for learning and problem-solving.
- Willingness to adapt to new processes and technologies.
Skills
- Strong analytical skills, particularly in process improvement and problem-solving.
- Excellent organizational skills, able to manage multiple high-priority tasks concurrently.
