About the role

The estimated base salary range for this role is $21.23 per hour. Individual pay is based upon location, skills and expertise, experience and other relevant factors.

Responsibilities

  • Clocks to and perform transactions in Shop-Trak.
  • Conduct Inventory of tools, parts, and supplies and resupply as needed.
  • Works with peers to coordinate movement assembled parts and/or products to the next step operation.
  • Unloads, receives, and stores raw materials and supplies.
  • Maintains accurate stock counts.
  • Analyzes daily product and supply levels to anticipate inventory problems and shortages.
  • Creates detailed reports for adjustments, inventory operations and stock levels.
  • Suggests solutions for continuous improvements.
  • Communicates with co-workers, Plant Managers / Supervisors to ensure accurate reporting, material usage, and labor reporting.
  • Reviews and audits inventory reports and transactions electronically.
  • Researches, analyzes, and reconciles all variances reported.
  • Cycles counting of all material in the warehouse with a concentration in the Modula area.
  • Performs necessary inventory reconciliation and adjustments for items.
  • Rectifies Receiving, Picking, and Replenishment errors in a timely fashion.
  • Completes requests from Purchasing, AP, Engineering and Production Departments.
  • Follows safety protocols and wear personal protective equipment as required.
  • Maintains equipment and work areas; cleans and performs basic repairs as needed.

Qualifications

  • Possess basic arithmetic skills.
  • Possess knowledge of personal computers skills (Intermediate or above Excel skills required).
  • In-depth understanding of accounting principles concerning inventory, sales, and gross margin.
  • Able to work independently and within a team structure to stay on schedule.
  • Uses measuring tools such as squares, scales, rulers, calipers and tapes accurately.
  • Ability to analyze data electronically.
  • Ability to edit data in a quick and highly accurate manner.
  • Communication and people skills; team player willing to learn.
  • Able to work in a manufacturing environment (i.e., ability to wear required PPE, work in a dusty, hot, non-climate-controlled environment; with stairs, frequent walking, standing and occasional lifting of material).
  • Able to work off shift hours in support of plant initiatives.
  • Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in core Inventory Control role within 90 days of hire.
