Inventory Control Coordinator
Major Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform daily cycle count using the ABC method. Cycle count ingredients, packaging, finished goods and labels as directed. Make adjustments as needed to JDE to maintain accurate inventory records
- Research significant inventory variances by examining bills of material, receipts, shipments, transfers, production usage, etc. Work closely with various departments. Supply production department heads with daily progress reports
- Communicate any variances to appropriate personnel while adhering to company policy on approval levels
- Backup to enter daily production into Legacy ensuring finished goods and WIPS reported are accounted for
- Auditing the NIL, PRD and correcting inventory in these locations on a daily basis. Count PRD locations and enter label counts into JDE. Provide daily listing of all drums and/or totes of batched product to production
- Perform aisle audits checking the accuracy of each location in the warehouse
- Investigate and reconcile customer shortage complaints
Knowledge and Skills
- Must be computer literate, experience in office software applications such as Microsoft Office and JDE helpful
- Must have excellent math skills
- Problem solving skills are necessary, as well as good written and verbal communication skills
- Capable of being forklift licensed/certified for sit down forklift and aerial lift
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience
- 1 or more years of experience
- Inventory and warehousing experience preferred
