About the role

The Inventory Control Coordinator maintains the integrity of inventory levels through regular cycle counts, physical inventory, and daily transaction completion per company procedure.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the cycle count program, including setting up daily, weekly, and quarterly cycle count activities.
  • Run daily inventory transaction reports, review for accuracy, and make corrections as necessary.
  • Research and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Conduct searches to locate products within the system.
  • Submit daily miscellaneous adjustment reports to Finance and Plant Management for approval.
  • Confirm that inventory handling and transaction procedures are followed.
  • Publish weekly and quarterly inventory metrics.
  • Communicate and develop process enhancements, including performing root cause analysis on inventory discrepancies and recommending process improvements.
  • Assist in picking orders for DOF.
  • Create kitting jobs in Oracle, print pick lists, and pick kit materials for production.
  • Assist in receiving and put-away processes for new material and packaging.
  • Assist in transfers to and from the production area.
  • Serve as the key inventory contact for audits and the Performance Excellence program.
  • Work with moderate supervision and escalate issues to supervisor as necessary.
  • Assist with various projects and other duties as assigned by the direct supervisor.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in data entry or inventory management.
  • Excellent computer skills, including experience in Excel/Google Sheets to download and analyze reports from Oracle or equivalent ERP systems.
  • Experience operating stand-up (Reach Truck) and sit-down forklifts.
  • Oracle or equivalent ERP experience is required.
  • Stockroom experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
