Location
Katy, TX
Responsibilities
- Assist manager in clearing Eclipse queues associated with purchasing
- Work closely with receiving department and vendors to solve discrepancies
- Research and assist with processing stock returns
- Update new items for bin locations
- Assist with monitoring non-stock inventory items
- Assist with managing bin locations and changes
Qualifications
- A college degree in Industrial Distribution, Business Management and/or equivalent industry experience is preferred but not required
- Detail oriented with excellent communication and time management skills
- Self-motivated, positive attitude, able to multi-task within a fast-paced environment
- Basic inventory/purchasing knowledge including procurement – order points, line points, demand, safety stock, excess and dead stock
Environment
- Typical environment includes offices and warehouse
- Light to moderate noise level
- While performing the duties of this job, employee is frequently required to stand
- The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds
