Inventory Control Coordinator

About the role

JELD-WEN is seeking an Inventory Control Coordinator to join their growing team at American Building Supply (ABS), a subsidiary of JELD-WEN. This role supports the Distribution Division in providing value-added goods and services to customers.

Responsibilities

• Accurately maintain detailed records of inventory, including physical inventory, orders, transfers, and cycle counts
• Perform appropriate adjustments on inventory levels
• Critically think and research discrepancies related to inventory levels
• Reconcile quantity discrepancies between stock and records
• Develop, recommend, and implement new processes and procedures as necessary
• Work with warehouse leadership to ensure procedures are followed regarding inventory usage
• Lead teams to perform inventory counts and maintain accurate levels
• Assist with physical inventory

Requirements

• Previous inventory control experience
• Excellent computer skills, including Word and Excel
• Previous clerical experience in a warehouse/transportation setting
• Leadership capability

Qualifications

• Preferably previous experience in a manufacturing or similar environment

Skills

• Strong organizational and attention to detail skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Pay

The expected pay range for this role is between $40,600.00 to $60,800.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
