Inventory Control Coordinator
About the role
The Role: Our site in Colorado Springs Rockrimmon, CO is seeking a Inventory Control Coordinator to join our team. This role is responsible for managing and maintaining accurate inventory records, supporting material flow processes, and ensuring timely availability of inventory to meet operational needs. This role requires hands-on experience in inventory control, problem-solving, and continuous improvement within a warehouse, manufacturing, and distribution environment.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate inventory levels through cycle counts, audits, and system transactions
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, including root cause analysis
- Perform routine inventory reconciliations between physical stock and system records
- Process inventory transactions (receipts, transfers, adjustments, and returns) in SAP and MES (Manufacturing Execution System)
- Monitor inventory metrics (accuracy, shrinkage, turnover) and recommend improvements
- Auxiliary in implementing inventory control procedures and best practices
- Support process improvement initiatives to enhance accuracy and efficiency
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Work in both team and cross-functional environments
- Assist with other duties as assigned
Requirements
- 2–3 years of experience in inventory control, materials management, or related field
- Strong understanding of inventory management principles and warehouse operations
- Experience with ERP or inventory management systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic data analysis
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Effective communication and teamwork
- Time management and ability to prioritize tasks
Qualifications
- Preferred: Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or supply chain environments
- Preferred: Familiarity with cycle counting programs and inventory auditing techniques
Skills
- Ability to use Fork Truck safely and effectively

Compensation: $21-$25 hourly range with actual pay dependent on candidate overall skills for the role
