Purchasing and Receiving

The Inventory Control Coordinator is responsible for the tasks associated with the management of inventory while maintaining the Pharmacy in a clean, orderly, and professional manner. This includes purchasing and receiving of inventory, tracking and reconciliation of inventory balances, replenishment tasks, put away, cycle counting, return product management, B/O and Days’ Supply monitoring, and selection of product and supplies under the direction of the supervisor.

Inventory Management

  • Managing returned goods according to standard operating procedures while also monitoring product trends and shortages to ensure proper inventory levels are maintained.
  • Ensuring pharmacy pick stations are properly stocked with medication and supplies.
  • Aiding in maintaining dispensing and back stock refrigerators in a well-organized manner.
  • Providing Operations Assistants with adequate packing supplies and ensuring pack stations are stocked appropriately.
  • Monitoring and pulling short-dated or expired product from active inventory.

Documentation and Support

  • Filing inventory and SOX documentation.
  • Assisting with other duties as assigned and/or any other tasks as assigned by Leadership.

Physical Demands

This position could be physically demanding. Must be able to sit, stand, pull, push, reach, stretch, walk, and be physically active for multiple hours of the day.

Qualifications

  • 1 year professional work experience in a warehouse, purchasing, or inventory environment.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs or more.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience with SAP Warehouse Management (WM) software.
  • Pharmacy Technician License within 3 months of hire.

Education

Verifiable High School diploma or GED required.

Compensation

Starting pay rates are based on experience, ranging from $18.50/hr to $20.02/hr. Anticipated Weekly Hours: 40. Time Type: Full time.

The typical pay range for this role is $17.00 - $25.65. This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.
