Inventory Control Clerk - Weekend Day Shift

Position Summary

Penske Logistics is seeking an Inventory Clerk for their North Little Rock, Arkansas location. This position offers a pleasant and outgoing environment with benefits such as PTO, medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, a 401K with company match, and numerous associate discounts.

Position Details

Friday to Sunday, 9:00am-9:30pm, $21.00 base rate + $2.00 shift differential

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensuring system count matches physical inventory
  • Resolve discrepancies at location and pallet level
  • Look for missing product in storage locations
  • Update WMS to match physical through various methods
  • Research and document root cause
  • Analyze reports to identify rotation issues
  • Audit inbound receipts, both physically and through receipt documentations
  • Accurately input required data elements into WMS and various other applications
  • Audit existing data for inaccurate data
  • Manage unsalable inventory to resolution
  • Accurately document information on product recalls, including physically segregating as required
  • Research and document root cause
  • Accurately record dump / donate and other product dispositions
  • Ensure appropriate signage accurately located in distribution center
  • Process analysis and documentation
  • Audit daily and weekly reports
  • Assist with development and implementation of special projects and tasks

Qualifications

  • Ability to follow work procedures and safety rules
  • Previous inventory experience in a warehouse setting is strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of computers and ability to learn WMS and various internal applications
  • Operate various material handling equipment; occasionally moving product in warehouse
  • Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function
  • Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening are required

Physical Requirements

The associate will be required to move frequently, stand, walk, and sit. The associate is frequently required to use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and to reach with hands and arms. The associate must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs/23kg and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100lbs/45kg.
