Inventory Control Analyst, AM, Fresh Kitchen - Deerfield

About the role

Ensuring the accuracy of inventory by validating and maintaining all inventory data and bookkeeping records. Coordinating cycle count and other physical inventory processes.

Responsibilities

• Understand, review, and communicate inventory concerns to production management, Manufacturing Production Planning, Manufacturing/Supply Purchasing, Assistant Controller, and other appropriate management positions
• Daily interaction with production and warehouse associates
• Investigate potential areas of concern
• Review daily production schedules
• Ensure documented best practices are adhered to
• Accept additional responsibilities as determined by the assistant controller
• Perform any other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• High school diploma or equivalent experience
• 1 year of manufacturing plant or distribution experience
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
• Excellent attendance and punctuality record
• Ability to work the Sunday after month-end closes
• Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, or extended periods of time when asked on a periodic basis
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent safety work habits
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Desire to learn and the ability to accept change
• Ability to plan, organize, and follow-through on assignments
• Strong time management, problem-solving, and analytical skills
• Ability to work with little or no supervision
• High level of maturity, discretion, tact, and judgment
• Ability to interact with associates at all levels of the company

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or other analytical discipline
• 3 years of experience with SAP software
• Knowledge of accounting and operational processes within a Manufacturing environment
• Experience with inventory record keeping
