About the role
This position is for Pactiv Evergreen Inc. The role involves maintaining awareness of all safety policies and procedures, performing work in accordance with established safety procedures, and keeping the work area clean and organized.
Responsibilities
- Maintain awareness of all safety policies and procedures for the job
- Perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures, including lock-out/tag-out
- Remain aware of surroundings and obtain knowledge of all required PPE for the job
- Keep work area clean and organized
- Report any safety concern, risk, hazard, near miss, or injury immediately to the appropriate supervision on shift
- Follow all guidelines for GMP
- Report any concerns of building or equipment failures that may lead to quality defects of product
- Support timely resolution of any building or equipment failures
- Responsible for the warehouse and production inventory (at manufacturing plant and off site warehouse)
- Serve as a key liaison to various internal customers for all stock inventory allocation requirements
- Responsible for the daily execution of stock inventory movements in LES/PTP
- Analyze, reconcile, and resolve inventory discrepancies daily using root cause analysis
- Lead the execution of the inventory record accuracy through weekly cycle counting and annual physical inventory requirements
- Required to be an active participant during internal/external inventory audits and product recalls
- Assure that slow moving product inventory is reviewed and disposition in a timely manner
- Maintain positive, professional, and timely communications, within various internal customers, as well as with external contacts
- Actively participate in the continuous improvement process
- Adapt to flexible work assignments to support business volume and/or department requirements
- Validate finished goods discrepancies: use KSB1/KOB1 to validate TOVars-reverse as required
- Record any discrepancies in G drive
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required with 4+ years logistics experience
- Proven experience with inventory control processes
- Must be Forklift certified
- Must have strong organization skills and be detail oriented with the ability to multi-task and prioritize work responsibilities with sense of urgency to meet deadlines
- High energy and motivated individual with the ability to effectively interact and communicate with internal and external customers
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to be a team player and work with little supervision
- Strong and proven computer skills: Microsoft Office Applications and SAP experience

Pay
Starting rate $20.91 - $26.65/hour depending on experience
Schedule
Shifts Available: M-F 7am-3:30pm
