About the Role
The Inventory & Purchasing Processor coordinates and performs functions related to the acquisition, tracking, storage, and handling of tools, equipment, and materials for the Enterprise Physical Operations - Danforth department. This includes processing service contracts and monitoring financial accounts within the department.
Responsibilities
- Performs all duties associated with the procurement of parts and materials, including tracking, storage, delivery, pickup, and physical receiving.
- Creates and approves transactions in the financial system, including purchase orders, change orders, blanket orders, check requests, budget adjustments, IDs, and journals.
- Communicates and coordinates with customers, project stakeholders, and departments, relaying and resolving issues as they arise.
- Monitors account balances for funds and communicates account balances with managers as needed.
- Serves as department liaison regarding procurement processes and policies.
- Conducts inventory spot checks and tool inventories.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent high school certification, or a combination of education and/or experience.
- 1 year of experience in purchasing, warehouse, or inventory control.
- A Class E (MO) or Class D (IL) driver’s license and a good driving record are required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience processing financial transactions in fund accounting in a professional environment.
- Ability to anticipate issues.
- Knowledge of project processes such as creating charters, project scope and objectives, and overall project delivery.
- Experience in creating and facilitating user training for university systems.

Pay
Salary Range: $19.29 - $29.91 / Hourly
