About the role
We are looking for an Inventory Analyst to support accurate inventory oversight and dependable day-to-day operations in Midland, Texas. This position is ideal for someone who brings a strong service mindset, careful attention to detail, and the ability to stay organized in a fast-moving environment. The role focuses on maintaining inventory integrity, coordinating counts and reconciliations, and contributing to efficient processes that support business needs.
Responsibilities
- Monitor inventory records to ensure quantities, movements, and adjustments are documented accurately and consistently.
- Perform routine analysis of stock levels and usage patterns to identify discrepancies, trends, and areas requiring follow-up.
- Support annual inventory activities, including physical counts, verification procedures, and reconciliation of variances.
- Maintain asset inventory data and help ensure records remain current, complete, and aligned with operational requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve inventory issues, answer questions, and promote accurate transaction handling.
- Review inventory-related interfaces and data flows to help identify errors and improve reporting reliability.
- Prepare clear inventory summaries and reports for management to support planning and decision-making.
- Contribute to a smooth operational environment by responding promptly to requests and assisting with inventory control processes.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in inventory analysis, inventory control, or a closely related function.
- Working knowledge of annual inventory and annual physical inventory procedures.
- Experience maintaining and analyzing asset inventory records with a high degree of accuracy.
- Familiarity with interface engine processes or related system integrations affecting inventory data.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to investigate discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
- Proficiency with inventory tracking systems, spreadsheets, and reporting tools.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work well with cross-functional teams.
