About the role

Under general supervision, the Intro to Health Occupations Instructor provides instruction and guidance to first-year students enrolled in one of the health profession programs offered at EVIT. This course emphasizes foundational knowledge in Medical Terminology and Anatomy & Physiology, preparing students for continued study within their chosen healthcare pathway.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Pay

$51,917.00 – $84,936.00. Placement in the range will be based on a combination of education, industry-related experience, teaching experience, and certification.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or advanced degree from an accredited university or college in a healthcare or related field
  • Arizona Department of Education Secondary or Career & Technical Education (CTE) Certification in Health Careers
  • A second Arizona Department of Education certificate in one of the following:
    • Secondary Education 6-12
    • Secondary Education 6-12 Specialized Secondary Certificate STEM 6-12
    • Specialized Secondary STEM 6-12
    • Subject Matter Expert in Biology or General Science 6-12
  • Level 1 IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
  • Proof of immunization against or immunity to measles and rubella if born after January 1, 1957
