Position Summary

The Intro to Health Occupations Instructor provides instruction and guidance to first-year students enrolled in health profession programs at EVIT. This course emphasizes foundational knowledge in Medical Terminology and Anatomy & Physiology, preparing students for continued study within their chosen healthcare pathway.

Salary

$50,651.00 - $84,636.00

Placement in the range will be based on a combination of education, industry related experience, teaching experience, and certification.

Mandatory participation in the Arizona State Retirement System plan (ASRS), which includes the regular contribution rate of 11.86% for retirement and 0.14% for Long-Term Disability per pay period. EVIT matches the retirement contribution dollar for dollar.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's or advanced degree from an accredited university or college in a healthcare or related field.
• This position requires 2 separate Certificates from Arizona Department of Education:
• AZDE Secondary or Career & Technical Education (CTE) Certification Health Careers.
• AZDE in one of the following:
• Secondary Education 6-12
• Specialized Secondary Certificate STEM 6-12
• Subject Matter Expert in Biology of General Science.
• Subject Matter Expert 6-12 Level 1

IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card

Proof of immunization against or immunity to measles and rubella if born after January 1, 1957.
