Position Summary
The Intro to Health Occupations Instructor provides instruction and guidance to first-year students enrolled in health profession programs at EVIT. This course emphasizes foundational knowledge in Medical Terminology and Anatomy & Physiology, preparing students for continued study within their chosen healthcare pathway.

Salary
$50,651.00 - $84,636.00
Placement in the range will be based on a combination of education, industry related experience, teaching experience, and certification.

Mandatory participation in the Arizona State Retirement System plan (ASRS), which includes the regular contribution rate of 11.86% for retirement and 0.14% for Long-Term Disability per pay period. EVIT matches the retirement contribution dollar for dollar.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's or advanced degree from an accredited university or college in a healthcare or related field.
- This position requires 2 separate Certificates from Arizona Department of Education:
- AZDE Secondary or Career & Technical Education (CTE) Certification Health Careers.
- AZDE in one of the following:
- Secondary Education 6-12
- Specialized Secondary Certificate STEM 6-12
- Subject Matter Expert in Biology of General Science.
- Subject Matter Expert 6-12 Level 1
IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
Proof of immunization against or immunity to measles and rubella if born after January 1, 1957.

EVIT offers 50 career technical education programs, as well as Associate degrees in Nursing and Surgical Technology.
