We are looking for an Interventional Radiology Technician (IRT) for an immediate opening in Akron, Ohio.
About the role
The IRT will be responsible for assisting with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures under the supervision of a physician. They will also manage equipment and maintain sterile conditions.
Responsibilities
- Assist with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures under the supervision of a physician
- Manage equipment and maintain sterile conditions
- Prepare patients for procedures and assist during the procedure
- Document patient information accurately and timely
- Maintain a safe and clean environment
Requirements
- 1-2 years of recent experience in interventional radiology
- Willingness to be flexible and adaptable in new environments
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current certification as an IRT
- Knowledge of sterile technique and infection control
Skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
