Interventional Radiology RN - PRN

About the role

Responsible for performing a variety of clinical procedures under the supervision of the Site Manager, providing patient care with a focus on age-specific needs, safety, and education.

Responsibilities

• Delivering pre- and post-procedure patient care, including administering contrast and conscious sedation, and maintaining sterile techniques.
• Preparing patients and equipment for invasive, interventional, and surgical procedures.
• Ensuring patient safety through verification protocols and quality assurance.
• Providing patient and family education, and supporting departmental documentation and compliance with standards.
• Assisting in other medical imaging areas and training staff as needed.

Requirements

• Associates or Bachelor's in Nursing; relevant certifications such as BLS, ACLS required.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in Interventional Radiology, with proficiency in moderate sedation, ICU, CCU, ER, or Cath Lab settings.
• Strong clinical, critical thinking, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and respond effectively to emergencies.
