Job Summary

This appointment will be in the 2027-2028 Interventional Nephrology Fellowship Program receiving advanced training in Interventional Nephrology. Clinical patient care at UW Health approved locations; clinical research endeavors; participation in the clinical teaching of medical students and residents. Incumbent will participate in the Department of Medicine, Nephrology Division journal club activities and continuing professional education activities.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Participate in weekly Nephrology Grand Rounds;
  • Present one Grand Rounds session and one fellow' core curriculum lecture;
  • Present one abstract at a national conference and publish one manuscript;
  • Participate in any new quality improvement or peer review activities related to interventional nephrology;
  • Provide unsupervised clinical services for the Division of Nephrology as necessary and as assigned by the Division Chief.

Compensation

The full-time salary for this position is $120,000, this is a combined salary from UW and UW Health. Employees in this position can expect to receive benefits such as generous vacation, holidays, and sick leave; competitive insurances and savings accounts; retirement benefits.

Required Qualifications

  • 2 years of general nephrology fellowship completed before the start of the Interventional Nephrology fellowship required.
  • MD - Physician - State Licensure Required.
  • Wisconsin Medical License required before start date.
  • Board eligible or board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine by the start date.

Education

MD or DO, or equivalent required.
