Responsibilities
- Bioinformatics analysis of genetic, genomics, epigenetic datasets associated with kidney disease development.
- Working with collaborators and being part of the Penn/CHOP Kidney Innovation Center to facilitate collaborative efforts.
- Primary data analysis and publication of results.
- Mentorship in genetics, genomics, and bioinformatics.
- Mentorship for grant application and independent faculty position application.
Requirements
- Expertise in human genetics, including statistical genetics, computational biology, pharmacogenetics/genomics, functional genomics, genome editing, structural variation analysis, kidney genetics.
- Familiarity with studies addressing translational genomic medicine.
- A Ph.D. or M.D./Ph.D. degree.
