Interpreter (Wolof, French & English) 2nd Shift)

About the role

This on-site 2nd Shift Interpreter position in Advance, NC operates from 4 PM ET to 12 AM ET. You will provide both written and verbal translation and interpretation to support hiring, performance management, team meetings, training sessions, emergencies, and other situations requiring interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Interpret verbal communications between English and other languages during orientation, training, team meetings, and other events.
• Translate written communications into other languages for Operations, Distribution Center, and other areas as needed.
• Provide interpretation support for the interviewing and hiring process, including conducting interviews, giving tours, making employment offers, and administering pre-employment tests.
• Demonstrate the Company’s Core and Growth Values in all job functions.
• Maintain reliable attendance.
• Actively participate in departmental meetings, training, and education; assist with training other employees and providing backup.
• Complete other assignments and special projects as requested.

Requirements

• Associate Degree in Business, Human Resources, Communications, or a related field.
• 1 year of experience in Spanish interpretation and translation.
• Knowledge of Human Resources policies and procedures, training practices, and Continuous Improvement Tools.
• Proficiency in Document Management Systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, internet).
• Strong time management, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines.
• Professionalism in handling employee inquiries and maintaining confidentiality.
• Ability to learn and retain manufacturing processes to explain them to employees.
• Empathy, understanding, and patience with employees and customers.
• Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
