Interpretation Member - Redwood National & State Parks

About the role

Responsible for providing interpretation services at Redwood National & State Parks. Duties include engaging visitors in nature through guided tours and educational programs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct guided tours and interpretive programs
• Develop and deliver educational materials
• Engage visitors in environmental education activities
• Assist with park operations as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Education, Interpretation, Natural Resource Management, or related field
• Experience in outdoor education or interpretation preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license
• Passing a background check
• Physical ability to perform park-related tasks

Skills

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of natural history and ecology
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings

Pay
