About the role
Responsible for providing interpretation services at Redwood National & State Parks. Duties include engaging visitors in nature through guided tours and educational programs.
Responsibilities
- Conduct guided tours and interpretive programs
- Develop and deliver educational materials
- Engage visitors in environmental education activities
- Assist with park operations as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Education, Interpretation, Natural Resource Management, or related field
- Experience in outdoor education or interpretation preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license
- Passing a background check
- Physical ability to perform park-related tasks
Skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of natural history and ecology
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings
