Internship, Program Manager, Field Service Central South (Fall 2026)

What You'll Do

• Build and maintain dashboards to track critical KPIs (e.g., fleet management, technician efficiency, service cycle times) using Excel or internal Tesla tools
• Analyze data and performance metrics to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for process optimization in RoboTaxi operations
• Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and refine operational documents, workflows, and process standards for RoboTaxi service initiatives
• Conduct time studies and process reviews to evaluate efficiency and recommend improvements for RoboTaxi deployment and maintenance initiatives
• Travel to field sites as needed to validate processes, gather feedback, and support on-ground implementation of Robo operations
• Work cross-functionally with the service team to ensure alignment, resolve integration challenges, and improve collaboration between Robo operations and customer-facing support teams
• Support the execution of RoboTaxi service programs, including scheduling, resource allocation, and coordination with regional teams
• Assist in the execution of key initiatives, including production planning, shop loading, scheduling, and mobile service response
• Partner with other regional teams on best practices and recommendations

What You'll Bring

• Proficiency in Excel (data analysis, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros) and other MS Suite tools (PowerPoint, Word, Teams)
• Background in operations, project management, or autonomous systems (preferred)
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects, meet deadlines, and adapt to dynamic environments
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in cross-functional teams (e.g., engineering, service, operations)
• Willingness to work overnight shifts (less than 5% of the time) for time studies and operational analysis
• Willingness to travel across Arizona, Nevada, Texas as needed to support RoboTaxi operations
• Willingness to travel to other regions as needed
