Internship/Co-op, Safety Management

About the Role

This internship opportunity is designed for students interested in gaining experience within McGough’s Safety team. McGough is committed to providing a well-rounded, hands-on experience in safety management. In addition, you will be exposed to various functions across the organization to gain a 360º perspective on our business operations.

Responsibilities

• Responsibilities will vary based on the needs of the Vice President of Safety and overall team
• Participate in relevant training, as well as personal and professional development opportunities

Qualifications

• You’re a junior or senior majoring in Construction Management or Construction Engineering (bonus points for field experience!)
• You thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy solving problems
• Teamwork is your jam, but you’re also self-motivated and can take the lead when needed
• Your communication skills (written and verbal) are top-notch

Pay

The base salary range for this position is $25 to $27/hour, excluding fringe benefits or potential bonuses. Final base salary will be determined by several factors, including geography, location, skills, education, and experience.

Schedule

Office: Various jobsites and/or corporate/regional office. Travel may be required.
