International Vendor Manager - Remote

About the role

This remote role (US‑based candidates only, no visa sponsorship) will oversee international supplier relationships and help ensure the timely, cost‑effective flow of goods across a global sourcing network. The position will partner closely with vendors and internal stakeholders to improve transparency, manage execution against critical milestones, and drive savings through disciplined negotiation. The ideal candidate will combine strong analytical skills with commercial acumen to identify risks, resolve delays, and support reliable production and delivery outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day operations with a global supplier base in low‑cost countries and ensure consistent updates and assessments.
• Build strong partnerships with vendors to promote transparency and accountability.
• Lead cost negotiations to achieve savings, considering various market factors.
• Identify and execute opportunities for cost reduction through various strategic approaches.
• Track critical‑path milestones and ensure on‑time delivery of goods to port.
• Proactively identify and resolve potential risks and delays.
• Analyze data related to shipments and production to provide actionable insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred or equivalent experience in international business.
• 5+ years managing and negotiating with overseas vendors, particularly in China or other low‑cost countries.
• Proven success in balancing cost negotiation with production execution and on‑time delivery.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; SQL knowledge preferred.
• Strong commercial acumen and exceptional analytical and problem‑solving skills.

Pay

$117,300 – $176,000 annually
