About the Role

The Office of International Student Services seeks an International Student Advisor to provide accurate immigration guidance, federal regulation expertise, and collaborate professionally with students, faculty, and staff. This position will function as a Designated School Official (DSO) and Alternate Responsible Officer (ARO) to ensure immigration needs are provided to international students on the OU campus.

Responsibilities

• Provide immigration guidance and federal regulation expertise to international students.
• Collaborate with students, faculty, and staff to meet compliance and support needs.
• Serve as a Designated School Official (DSO) and Alternate Responsible Officer (ARO).

Requirements

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 24 months of related international experience.

Equivalency/Substitution: Will accept 48 months of relevant experience in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree for a total of 72 months of experience. Will also accept a Master’s degree and no experience.

Pay

Targeted salary of $43,000 annually, based on experience.

Schedule

Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
