About the role

The International HR Systems Specialist at Samaritan's Purse is responsible for ensuring the successful deployment and support of Human Resources (HR) software in international field offices. Key duties include implementing HR software solutions, training users, liaising with suppliers, and coordinating testing.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be an effective witness for Him.
  • Implement HR software solutions to international country offices.
  • Establish key progression targets and dates to ensure the rollout in each country office is delivered on time.
  • Train key staff members on the HR system to ensure successful implementation and provide regular, ongoing training and support.
  • Liaise between the solution supplier(s) and the implementation team to ensure implementations stay on schedule.
  • Coordinate and/or conduct testing for each field office configuration.
  • Develop test scripts, design testing requirements, and conduct system testing.
  • Validate solutions integration with existing systems.
  • Develop flow of information and processes between systems.
  • Develop deployment plan, reference guides, introductory courses, and job aides for end users in written and online formats.
  • Identify how changes to configuration and software impact downstream functionality and integration to other systems.
  • Aid with other software implementations as needed.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree (BA) from four-year College or University and 3-5 years related experience.
  • Previous experience with software implementation in various roles.
  • Experience training end users of software systems.
  • Completed 12 credit hours of college-level Biblical Studies or willing to complete requirement upon hire.
  • Advanced knowledge of software implementation.
  • Sufficient comprehension of the subject area to solve common and unusual work problems.
  • Self-motivated, meticulous, process-oriented, methodic, and capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Ability to work cohesively with various teams including software provider, in-house IT department, and international country office staff.
  • Advanced technical knowledge of multiple platforms.
