International Field Service Technician

Job Duties

• Install and test equipment, train customer employees to use newly installed equipment.
• Perform demonstrations.
• Provide service and support during site visits.
• Diagnose errors and determine proper solutions.
• Follow up with customers via email and phone.
• Document processes.
• Build positive relationships with customers.
• Aid with product development.
• Troubleshoot from office (remote assistance).

Qualifications

• Demonstrate mechanical assembly experience.
• Demonstrate electrical connection and testing experience (at least be up to learning basics).
• Be proficient with computers.
• Possess excellent communication skills.
• Can teach/train effectively.
• Willing to travel, including internationally up to 40%.
• Can be professional around customers.
• While the following would be a plus: equipment maintenance experience, mechanical experience, extrusion experience, food industry experience, bilingual/multilingual language skills, mechanical engineering background or mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical certification.
