Field Service I Technician
About the role
The Field Service Technician will report product failure trends and serviceability issues with necessary supported documentation, ensuring accurate information and record keeping. They will meet customer demands by providing efficient, responsive, and accurate Field/Shop/on-site maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Report product failure trends and serviceability issues with necessary supported documentation, ensuring accurate information and record keeping.
- Meet customer demands by providing efficient, responsive, and accurate Field/Shop/on-site maintenance.
- Properly maintain all technical information, Field Service Reports, Expense Reports, and Canon property assigned.
- Showcase strong customer communication and satisfaction skills.
- Maintain the performance of assigned machines.
- Facilitate performance at a level which helps to achieve the branch/district’s overall metric targets.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent experience required.
- Possess a basic understanding of internet environments and the ability to successfully complete the 120-day introductory period and the PDIF (Printing and Digital Imaging Foundations) new-hire class.
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record necessary.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and be active more than 50 percent of the time (walking, standing, stooping/kneeling).
Qualifications
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Skills & Expertise
- Customer-facing role compliance with customer policies and protocols, which may include COVID-19 vaccination and other measures relating to COVID-19.
- Responsible for servicing clients within the Rochester and Syracuse, NY areas.

Pay
$19.00 - $26.31/hour
