International Corporate Tax Advisory Manager - FY27
About the role
The Transaction Tax Practice at EY comprises a dedicated team focusing on the tax aspects of corporate and private equity acquisitions, dispositions, restructurings, and capital market transactions. As a Transaction Tax Manager, you will serve corporate and private capital markets clients undertaking third-party transactions in tax diligence, general transaction advisory, and overall transaction project management. You will assist with internal restructuring and corporate and private equity buy/sell side due diligence, develop and execute tax strategy by managing risk arising from global law changes (such as Base Erosion Profit Shifting - BEPS), and advise on transactions involving financial instruments (e.g., cash, debt and equity, derivatives, foreign exchange).

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required (4-year degree)
- US CPA or member of US State bar
- No less than 4 - 6 years relevant experience

- Serve as a member of multiple client engagement teams, participating in due diligence and structuring engagements related to transactions for private equity and strategic corporate clients
- Assist in the review and analysis of merger agreements and provide opinion letters
- Identify and analyze tax risks and opportunities while advising on alternative tax strategies for acquisition, disposition, and restructuring of businesses
- Review, assess, and advise clients regarding tax computations reflected in their financial models; and assist clients in the quantitative and qualitative analysis of the tax data in their financial projections for the transaction
- Apply your depth of expertise to guide others and interpret internal/external issues to recommend quality solutions
- Meet performance objectives and metrics set locally (client service, quality and risk management, sales and business growth, solution development and teaming, etc.)

Pay
Base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $116,200 to $212,900. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $139,400 to $242,000. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.
